Accor Hospitality Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore (MIS) held an appreciation event/Talents Day for their best employees within the region.

This annual event was held at Novotel Bogor Golf and Resort, inviting all the best employees from the region to be finally selected as the Best Employee Of The Year 2009.

The award for Best Employee Of The Year 2009 was achieved by Sari Warastuti from Indonesia, who beat 80 other finalists from Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. This region alone has over 7,000 employees and through this event, Accor pre-select the winners for the year.

Here are the winners:
• Sari Warastuti has been showing her dedication to work as Reservation Supervisor at the Novotel Bogor, Indonesia . She won the Best Employee Of The Year (BEOTY) Indonesia – Back of the house and also received Textures of MIS Silver.
• Anton Wibowo, House Keeping Order Taker from Mercure Convention Center, Indonesia won the BEOTY - Front of the house and received Textures of MIS Silver.
• Giri Jaideep, F&B Supervisor from Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore won BEOTY from Singapore received Textures of MIS Gold.
• Azrul Bin Mohd Hassim, Waiter from Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside, won BEOTY from Malaysia and received Textures of MIS Silver.

Talents Day aims to motivate Accor employees to give their best performance at the hotel to satisfy every hotel guest, among many other responsibilities. At the event, some General Managers also shared their stories and experiences on how they grew with Accor. They are the living proof that Accor has given them the opportunities to explore their talents within the network. Accor MIS designed this motivational program to boost employees’ morale and dedication to the company.
