BOOKINGS
Bookings that are made via website after 12 midnight are reserved for that following evening and not the previous night. Bookings must be made prior to midnight to be reserved for that night.
Eg: A booking made by the internet before midnight on the 5th Feb 2008 will be reserved for the 5th Feb 2008. Bookings made at 12:05am will be reserved for the 6th Feb 2008 and not the 5th Feb 2008.

All bookings made online with formule1.com.au are paid for immediately (with the exception of Advantage Plus Members) via credit card, and we advise you to be familiar with the terms of these bookings. They are strictly no change no cancellation no refunds type reservations. Please be certain of the hotel location & your dates before you book to avoid inconvenience or disappointment.

Hotel Formule 1 Melbourne CBD is ideally located in the heart of Melbourne city centre only minutes from Flinders Street Station & Southern Cross Station. A great base to enjoy shopping sporting events, restaurants and experience Melbourne's fantastic nightlife.

CAR PARKING
There is NO parking provided at the city property. We do not recommend that you park in the very limited street parking close to the hotel; it is not safe for your car or possessions. There are many great car parking facilities in the CBD at reasonable prices and also Crown Casino parking can be a very affordable option. We have NO affiliations or special deals with any of these parking options. This information is only provided for your convenience.

This parking is a 12 – 15 minute walk back to the hotel or 5 minutes on the tram.

There are several shuttle companies who charge moderate rate to and from the airports.
For the Main Tullamarine Airport we recommend STAR BUS on 03 8336 6111.
And for Avalon Airport there is SUN BUS on 03 9689 6888. These services are NOT run by the hotel so please contact them directly or we can contact them for your return arrangements when you are with us at the hotel.


RESTAURANTS – EATERIES
A $7.00 Continental Breakfast is available Daily at the Hotel from 7am to 9:30am Monday to Saturday and from 7am to 10am Sundays and Public Holidays.

A Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate & Snack Foods & Soft Drink Vending machines are available 24hrs and are located in the Hotel Lobby.

GENERAL
Prices Start from $79 for a standard room and $89 for a family room. These vary according to weekday verses weekend, popular event periods and availability. A weekend rate will be between $99 and $129 approximately.

Early check in & late check out are available upon request (subject to availability) a sliding scale surcharge fee will apply. Please contact the hotel to arrange this prior to your arrival.

Please bring your confirmation letter with you on check in.

Current Photo ID (e.g. passport or Australian drivers license) must be presented on arrival, this is a strict policy, no ID = no room.

Due to Health Regulations No Pets are allowed on site.

CREDIT CARD & OR BOND DETAILS
Please note, if you are not the credit card holder for the booking which has been reserved, then you must contact the hotel prior to your arrival to advise that you will not have the credit card to present to our staff on check in. Our staff will then ask you to pay a security bond in cash if the card is not to be used as your security. You will need to have the owner of the card provide written Authorisation to us via fax including a readable photocopy of their own photo ID the card and a few lines stating that they have given their permission for this card to be used to make your reservation. They may like to include permission for us to use the card as security on the room or you may pay a cash bond on arrival. You both then need to be aware Bonds are kept and credit cards are charged if the event of any of these things happening:
Anyone smokes in the room
Any damage occurs
If the guest causes disruption to other guests or staff
If any emergency services are called to the hotel, i.e – fire brigade or police.
